As Twitter sadly continues to flush itself down the toilet, I wanted to give people who might have ruled out Mastodon as a better alternative, a heads up on something.

Tweetbot creators, Tapbots have now gone all in on Mastodon, building an app called Ivory, set for general release soon.

I'm using the Beta and it's as great as you'd expect. I think it's also very likely that Ivory will help iron out the UX kinks in Mastodon as they develop more features.

It's certainly worth keeping an eye out for its release. And maybe if you're a Mastodon sceptic, it might be worth a second look?
